| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the bacteriostatic action of catechin to four kinds of bacteria was determined by the microbiological technique, and the accelerated oxidation under the intermedium of ferric ion was studied by UV-VIS spectroscopy. The probable mechanism about the bacteriostatic action and the accelerated oxidation of catechin were discussed. |
